Tchaikovsky Eugene Onegin opera to libretto by the composer and K. Shilovsky based on the verse novel by Alexander Pushkin. Produced by Deborah Warner and directed by Fiona Shaw 2013 at the Met. Stars Mariusz Kwiecien (Onegin), Anna Netrebko (Tatiana), Piotr Beczala (Lenski), Oksana Volkova (Olga), Alexei Tanovitski (Gremin), Elena Zaremba (Madame Larina), Larissa Diadkova (Filippyevna), David Crawford (A Captain), Richard Bernstein (Zaretski), and John Graham-Hall (Triquet). Valery Gergiev conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Chorus (Chorus Master Donald Palumbo), and Ballet. Sets by Tom Pye; costumes by Chloe Obolensky; lighting by Jean Kalman; video designs by Ian William Galloway and Finn Ross; choreography by Kim Brandstrup. Directed for TV by Gary Halvorson; music producer was Jay David Saks. Supervising Producers were Mia Bongiovanni and Elena Park; Producers were Louisa Briccetti and Victoria Warivonchik.
